BECOME A MEMBER


Joining the International Justice Organization

Apply using the membership (right). Fill out this form and send it to the IJO along with all supporting documents (diplomas, certificates, etc.). These supporting documents must be in French, Dutch, English, Arabic or Turkish. Please include sworn translations of documents in other languages.

We ask you to submit your application via electronic means to secretariat@ijustice.eu. If this is not possible, then please post your application to:

Joining as a full member

Who?

  • Anyone who holds a a higher certificate degree in law or
  • Anyone who can prove they have at least 3 years of professional experience in a profession in field of law
    • copies of invoices or employment contract
    • statements from clients
    • sworn statements signed by 2 full members of the IJO
    • other

Why?

  • Contribute to defending your profession
  • Influence legislation and standards regarding the profession
  • Right to vote in the General Meeting
  • Possibility of becoming a member of the IJP Board of Directors

Becoming an associate member

Who?

  • Interns: anyone who does not (yet) meet the requirements for full membership (students, beginners, part-time employees, etc.).
  • Employees.
  • Related professions in relations with the legal profession.
  • Anyone who ceased to hold a position in the field of law but would like to maintain their link with the profession.

Why?

Associate members have the same advantages as full member except:

  • they may attend the General Meeting but do not have a right to vote
  • they may not become members of the Board of Directors

Application fee

We ask for a €50 prepayment to cover the costs of opening a file.
This amount will be deducted from your membership fee on acceptance of your application by the admissions committee.

If we hear nothing further from you, your membership application will not be considered.
